Ones To Watch: Martron

New York-born and now LA-based, Martron has been building towards this moment for a while. Classically trained from a young age, it was a show at Terminal 5 back in 2012 that flipped the switch and set him on his path into electronic music.

Fast forward to 2026 and the momentum speaks for itself. With releases on Dim Mak, Magic Magic and Hegemon Select, support across SiriusXM and Aoki’s House, plus spins on Insomniac and Reprezent Radio, he’s steadily carving out his lane. Add millions of streams, major playlist support and backing from names like NGHTMRE, Odesza and Steve Aoki, and it’s clear Martron is only just getting started

We think the best way to get to know someone is always to look through their music collection. Today, we want to get to know Martron, so we’ve asked him who his ones to watch are for 2026.

Klo – SAY SOMETHING

Klo is one of those producers that whether you listen to her music or go to her shows, you know you’re getting a good groove and that the vibe she creates is spot on. Her powerful basslines and mastery of 140 command respect and admiration. Earning a spot at Lollapalooza and opening for the likes of Subtronics, it’s clear that Klo is made to do what she does. I picked her track “SAY SOMETHING” because I think it’s a great representation of the kind of artist Klo is. Watching her grow with every release has been and will continue to be an absolute pleasure, please check her out if you haven’t already.

2Sum – MI2

2Sum consists of Lenis Soto and Xavier Durate, a pair who with their powers combined are one of the most versatile duos in the game. They can make anything they want and still keep it so cohesive, you can always tell no matter what genre it is that it’s a 2Sum track. I picked their “MI2” because although they’ve showcased a lot of half time, bassy and trap tracks, this one matches that same energy but is more House centric this time around. I had the pleasure of working with them on our track “Power” last year and not only are they good at what they do, they’re good people too. Everything they make is fresh and very much worth a listen.

KILLMATTER – BALENCIAGA BARBIE

I’ve watched KILLMATTER from afar for quite some time, this dude is a sick producer. Having just released his “MERCERDOME” EP on Marshmello’s Joytime Collective, KILLMATTER is getting the recognition he deserves. What I really enjoy about his music is how well thought out it is, every move sounds like it was calculated and mapped out perfectly. I picked to showcase “BALENCIAGA BARBIE” because to me it’s the best track to show off all of KILLMATTER’s talents. He’s not afraid to change things up, yet finds creative ways to stay consistent and keep things fresh and enjoyable for the ear. Definitely keep an eye on KILLMATTER, he’s only just getting started.

Bronze Whale – Catching On VIP

Bronze Whale are a great example of what happens when 2 great friends (basically brothers) grow together and are able to show that in their music. Benny Allen III and Aaron Jaques compliment each other so well, each bringing irreplaceable and intriguing components to their emotionally palpable and infectious project. Having much success in their career as a duo, they also operate under separate aliases (Benny under “Soft Jaw” and Aaron under “Very Yes”) and even run a collective imprint together called “Magic Magic”. Their track “Catching On VIP” is a great example of how good they are at capturing a moment and describing it perfectly with their music. On a personal level I’ve known Benny and Aaron for over 5 years, I’ve worked with them a lot and even released my first 2 EPs on Magic Magic. Both are wonderful people and people I’m honored to call my brothers. Their music is a must listen.

Asper – Vibe Check

Asper came out of nowhere for me, I was scrolling through socials one day and all of the sudden reels of his started showing up on Instagram. And I have to say, this dude’s music is legit. You can feel every hit, every sound, the atmosphere he creates in his tracks are so immersive. His latest track “Vibe Check” is a statement of confidence and power, showing off what he’s capable of and I’m all for it. If you want to know what powerful music really feels like, check Asper out.

LUV HRTS – 4EVA

I’m a big fan of LUV HRTS, they have this unique way of making you feel calm and making you move at the same time with their music. Benjamin David and Victor Pakpour capture emotional highs and lows together with their music in a way that you can’t help but bob your head to no matter the circumstances. “4EVA” is a track I’m quite fond of, it’s unskippable whenever I hear it in my playlist. It’s a great example of how easily they can change your mood with their music. If you’re looking for music that’ll send you on a journey, LUV HRTS is the duo for you.

Eloquin – Left Right Left

Charlie Shell is not talked about enough, to me that’s a problem because this guy is a certified hit maker. He has UKG down to a science and could probably write a best seller on how to make people dance. With support from DJ Seinfeld, Mau P, Tchami as well as radio support from BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, Rinse FM and Triple J, Charlie clearly belongs in this scene in a bigger way than he currently is. I recently discovered his remix of Eloquin’s “Left Right Left”, what a work of art and captivating track. If you don’t know him, get to know Charlie Shell now, I promise you won’t regret it.

JPKy – tape 1

I was scrolling through Soundcloud a couple weeks ago doing some cratedigging and all of a sudden this guy pops up, JPKy. After checking him out I knew he was someone that I’d regularly listen to. What an energetic artist, the fire in his eyes can easily be felt in his tracks. There are so many tracks of his to show off here, but I thought the best one to showcase is “tape 1”, a dark and bassy track with haunting melodies that tie everything together perfectly. His mixing here is well done, giving a sonically present 3rd dimension to take things to the next level. JPKy was such a pleasant surprise, he’s got a fan in me for sure, please check out his music.

Maneki – BACKSEAT

Maneki is gonna take command of the bass music scene in the Bay Area and beyond, mark my words. With support from artists like Chyl and Deorro as well as a release on Space Yacht Records, his music is so carefully crafted and infectious. He’s got that kind of sound where you’re at a festival and when you hear one of his tracks in the distance, you run straight towards it to catch the full moment of it playing. Maenki is magnetic and his track “BACKSEAT” is a great example of this. Do not pass up on catching him live and definitely add him to your rotation.

LAUTRE. – Tell Me

LAUTRE. is another example of an artist I was so happy to find during some cratedigging, and I have to say what a find. This guy can do everything: Trap, Drum and Bass, Techno, UKG, he’s on top of his game in every genre he sets his mind to making. Hailing from Southern France and gaining support from artists like Illenium, Rossy and Capshun, LAUTRE.  is a daring and dynamic artist with a lot to say. His track  “Tell Me” is my favorite of his far, his trap sound is some of the best I’ve heard in a while. Go give love to LAUTRE., he is criminally underrated and very deserving of time in the limelight.
