10 Videos from Lost Lands that prove Excision is a genuine boss

Lost Lands crew, this one’s for you. Although you’re probably not going to read this for a few days as you wait for your senses to return.

The last three nights – between September 29 and October 1 – Ohio’s Legend Valley was shaken to its inner core by 500,000 watts of bass, thousands of diehard headbangers and an insanely on-point bass-ridden line-up.

Curated, organised and fronted by Excision, everything about the festival was for the love and for the fans. Essentially this was his dream festival and a way of saying thanks to everyone who’s headbanged with him and to him over his meteoric rise to the very top of the dubstep tree over the last 10 years. And it was clear in the run up to kick-off last Friday he wanted every little detail perfect. And if it wasn’t perfect, he’d take responsibility for it.

See you all tomorrow ?

It’s impossible to salute too hard to a statement like that (and there’s a whole load of similar posts on his Insta if you want more authenticity) And the line-up reflected this level of attention too. Datsik, Kill The Noise, Zeds Dead, Delta Heavy, 12th Planet, Rezz, Snails, Barely Alive, Dion Timmer, Virtual Riot, Funtcase, Cookie Monsta, Spag Heddy and many many more were on board for the inaugural Lost Lands experience. And there are many, many fans who’ve been glued to their feeds (us including) wishing we’d flown out to Ohio too.

FOMO doesn’t even begin to describe this situation. Our feeds are just awash with Lost Lands videos, so here are 10 that hint at the chaos Excision cooked up over the weekend. Massive shouts to everyone involved, serious dubstep history was made in Ohio this weekend. Hells, the festival seemed so lit, a volcano stage prop caught fire during Destroid’s set!
