Looks like Chase & Status’s fourth artist album is well under way, if not almost complete.
We’ve been stalking them daily on social media for album news since March when they dropped a surprise clip of a brand new gutter-chomping bassline-led cut on Facebook with the tag #Album4.
Not a lot of album info landed during the summer (what with their Rebel Sound tour and series of dates in Ibiza and all) but on October 2 the countdown recommenced and last night climaxed with the comment “4 weeks later & we have 26 more tunes in the album folder. We may have to drop something soon, listen keenly”
We’re listening chaps, we’re listening. Here’s how their updates have gone down over the last four weeks. A few collaborations are hinted along the way but, considering the premiership connections on Brand New Machine (Nile Rodgers, Major Lazer, Pusha T), we reckon these communiques are only scratching the surface.
Here’s how it’s gone down so far. We’ll keep you posted with more details as they land…

Bugzy Malone’s also been working with them, and I think Stormzy has too
