Current Value announces new album – Platinum Scatter

Current Value has announced a brand new album: Platinum Scatter

Following last year’s opus The All Attracting, Platinum Scatter is the prolific German artist’s 14th studio LP and will drop on Czech label YUKU. As always with Tim Eliot, the project is a cohesive body of work that comes with its own context and unique and conceptual place of inspiration.

“Platinum Scatter is a trip along the fringes of music that could still be classified as drum and bass but without the obvious markings of the genre while meeting and merging with forms of techno or music from the wider bass spectrum. I designed this album to be something of a focused journey that should work equally as a cerebral listening experience as much as it should function in clubs. I consider this to be my most conceptual body of work to date, and I hope that you will enjoy its approach to multi-layered rhythms and minimal but striking forms.”

Featuring some of his deepest and most far-out designs, pretty much in equal measure, you can catch a flavour of the Platinum Scatter on his Soundcloud sampler.

Available now digitally to all YUKRU subscribers, Platinum Scatter will be revealed to the rest of the world on both digital and vinyl formats on September 22. Visit the YUKU store for more details.
