After decades at the very heart of UK garage, DJ EZ is to launch his first ever label: Nuvolve Records.
“I’m ecstatic to announce the launch of NUVOLVE RECORDS!” states the DJ, broadcaster and legendary marathon man. “This record label will be bringing you the exciting future of all the sounds that I have championed for 25 years.”
Just like EZ’s sets, the label will be dedicated to the full UKG spectrum and it launches this Friday, October 23, with six tracks from an exciting range of OGs and new-gen talents alike: Todd Edwards, Club Asylum, Proper Tings, Sweet Female Attitude, MPH, SHOSH, Kelsey and Fabian Dubz.
The release can be pre-ordered here and those who follow EZ regularly will know that Nuvolve actualy began earlier this year as new radio platform for the UK garage pioneer, with all shows available on Mixlcoud Select. Nuvolve has been one of many exciting EZ missions this year, as he’s continued to champion the music and new talent throughout these frustrating rona times. Right at the start of the lockdown he smashed his second 24 hour charity stream and he commeced a monthly Radio 1 residency late last month. You can hear the first episode here.
