Drum&BassArena announce 2020 awards show details

Drum&BassArena have announced that this year’s awards will be held on December 9 at 8pm GMT. Hosted with YouTube Music, you can watch the show live here

The votes are in. They’ve been counted, and counted again in the spirit of recent events, and the Drum&BassArena Awards results will be announced on December 9 in conjunction with YouTube Music.

The show will be hosted by Jenna G and UKF editor Dave Jenkins who will both be looking back over the weirdest year any of us have ever experienced, celebrating as many great people and aspects of the scene as possible and interviewing some of the nominees throughout the night.

With the year being as upside down as it has been, anything could happen. Will A.M.C refuse to leave the Best DJ white house if another DJ wins? Will Hospitality demand a recount if they don’t win for the millionth year in a row? Will the show be hosted outside a DIY centre next door to an adult store? Probably not.

But one thing is certain; it’ll take more than a pandemic, an entire rave shutdown and endless lockdowns to stop the tradition of everyone moaning about the results. And right now we’ll relish anything that feels like an old school pre-rona custom. See you in the chat.

Tune in on December 9, 8pm GMT
