As he explained to us a few months back, the free album is a way of saying thanks to his very loyal and passionate fanbase and a means of showcasing his wider skills and styles. While he’s famed for his harder, gnarlier, Halloween-flavoured monsters, Figure – Gravity is a much broader sound that’s still rooted in filth but branches out into cool mid-tempo funk (Ready For Action), spacey cosmic chill (One Million Tons Of StarShip / Stars That Never Burn Out), blissful euphoria (Aligned) slinky, Chemical Brothers style breaks (Check My Movements) and a whole load more. Pro-tip: if you’re after straight up nasty bass then jump straight on Beware. Ouch!
