Great news! High Contrast has confirmed that his eagerly anticipated sixth studio album will drop on October 6. Entitled Night Gallery, it’s set to be his most musically accomplished and wide-armed body of work to date.
14 tracks deep, the album will include recent tracks Remind Me (the highest viewed drum & bass track on UKF last year), Questions, Shotgun Mouthwash and brand new single The Beat Don’t Feel The Same. Incorporating live musicians, string sections and a lot of his own playing on keys, vocals and guitar, Night Gallery will run the electronic gauntlet like with explorations of new tempos, techniques and genres, all within High Contrast’s evocative, widescreen soulful signature.
Several years in the making, Night Gallery will headline another successful year for the Welsh artist who cracked open a significantly fizzy bottle of 2017 in January with the lead track in Trainspotting 2. It was followed by the vast and varied Questions EP (which comprised house productions and the best cover of Underworld’s Rez ever released) a sell-out live show at Brixton Electric and a summer of high profile DJ sets. He’s also expected to announce a live tour this autumn, too. 2017 just keeps getting better and better for High Contrast fans.
