Holy Goof has just announced the release of his first album project.
Globes: The Album is a compilation / DJ mix concept project that follows the launch of his Globes UK tour. His biggest national tour to date, Globes runs the length and breadth of the UK and includes his biggest headline show to date at Brixton Electric. The album is set to match the same level of ambition and energy as his tour, and everything else he’s achieved since breaking through in 2015 including extensive world tours and collaborations with some of the biggest names in bass house such as My Nu Leng and DJ Zinc… All of which has inspired the whole Globes album project.
“I wanted to do the compilation album was because I wanted to represent and push as many acts as I can that I’m feeling at the moment,” Goof explains. “There’s so much good new music and part of my show is always playing exclusive tracks. Another reason behind doing the album was I’ve been playing in quite a lot of new places and countries where the sound isn’t so well known, but they all love it and want to hear more. So I wanted to present to them a body of music from the acts that are making this music. There’s about 30 acts involved in the compilation album and it will be released early Feb 2019.”
Representing the full bass house spectrum with collaborations and contributions from some of the most exciting talents in the scene, the album will actually feature over 30 acts and will include 19 unreleased exclusives including many from Holy Goof himself. It drops on February 1. Follow Holy Goof for more details on the album include the full tracklist that will be revealed ahead of release.
