October 22, 2022: Hybrid Minds will host and headline their own show at London’s iconic Wembley Arena.
The third drum & bass act to ever headline their own show at the 12,000 capacity venue – following Andy C and Pendulum – it builds on the momentum from their sold out Brixton Academy event last year and recent appearances at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Liquicity, Hideout and Red Rocks in Colorado supporting Zeds Dead. It will be the biggest show the duo have ever performed to date.
Entitled Tides, the performance is a brand new concept that takes off from where their Outlines concept left us and will be revealed in more detail by the duo as they get closer to the October date. It will also be preceded by a new EP Tides Part 1 on Friday October 21.
“We can’t quite believe we are saying this, but we are bringing our latest show concept Tides to Wembley Arena this October,” state the duo. “We’ve got some giant visuals planned and will have a bunch of very special guests joining us too. We can’t wait for everyone to finally experience what we’ve been cooking up since Brixton Academy last year.”
Referencing one of their earliest breakthrough tracks in 2012 (released on AudioPorn with Shimon and Grimm) Tides Part 1 follows their recent single Better Now with Lily Denning. More about the release will be announced ahead of its release on October 21.
In the meantime, you can sign up for ticket information and piority details right here. With their ill-fated Printworks show (which was scheduled to take place the same weekend the UK went on lockdown in 2020) selling out in four hours, and their Brixton Academy show selling out six months ahead of it taking place we have no doubt Matt and Josh will smash Wembley.
