You could probably see this one coming…
Let It Roll have announced today that they will not be hosting a festival this summer due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Instead they will be focusing everything on an even bigger event which will be held next year, August 5 – 7, 2021.
All tickets purchased for Let It Roll 2020 will be valid for Let It Roll 2021 with no action required. Refunds and vouchers are available but Let It Roll ask fans to keep their tickets for next year, if they are able to, in order to help the event continue as a business, recover from this situation and return, all robot lasers blazing in the summer of 2021.
Thanking their loyal, international community of fans who’ve messaged their support during these uncertain and turbulent times, the Czech brand will be dropping a limited merch range and other interim plans ahead of next summer’s event.
While we’re saddened about this news, we’re not surprised and know it’s for the best. While social restrictions are slowly being lifted across Europe, it will be a long time before we’re able to congregate en mass from every corner of the globe on the grand scale Let It Roll are famous for operating on. We wish Suki and the team the best of luck, reloading for 2021 and preparing the rave we’ve been spending much of our lockdowns dreaming of.
“Let It Roll has been here with us for 18 years and we believe that it will continue for at least another 18 years,” the brand explains in their official statement. “Most of us remember the rainy Oplatil or extreme temperatures in 2018. But we didn’t stop and Let It Roll has improved every year to its current state we know today – thanks to you as well. We keep going and even though the festival will not take place this year, we want to offer you a different version of it. Follow us on social media and we will soon introduce a new concept to you. We look forward to meeting you again at the Milovice airfield in 2021 and to the fact we will be celebrating the love for drum & bass together.”
See you in Milovice in August 2021.
