Last week OWSLA announced that Getter would be releasing his debut label EP on June 16.
A match made in muscular music heaven, clearly. But what was really interesting was the blurb that came with the release, describing the four tracks collection as his most diverse to date. The first sign of the EP was a hair-raising co-lab with MUST DIE! entitled Mega Gun. As you’d expect from both parties, it’s a full-on bass-bulged lazer blazer.
But then last night this new track popped up on our feeds…. Getter – Low Tide features the smouldering vocals of Jaden Micheals and shows Getter’s deepest, most emotional side to date. Sounding unlike anything he’s done before, it sits somewhere between experimental and pop and comes with an array of precision designed sounds and oceanic chasms of space. Press play and check it out. If you’ve got a lighter, you might want to raise it every now and again.
