This seems pretty legit…
Ed Banger hosted a party at Sonar Festival last month and it seems the label boss Busy P opened with the first Justice material in almost five years.
It’s what we’ve been waiting and hoping for since Busy P confirmed new music was en route on his NTS Radio show last year. Since then French label Because Music shared a photo of the duo signing contracts. No further details have been officially confirmed.
Until now… Busy P’s set has actually been online for at least two weeks but it’s taken for someone to Shazam the unknown opening track to confirm suspicions as it recognises the track as Justice – Safe & Sound.
It certainly sounds like Justice; there’s a natural anthemia to the track and the cool slap-bass disco funk groove smacks of the duo’s original signature. Even at a really low audio quality it sounds seriously dope. Check the track here as the opening cut of Busy P, Boston Bun and Para One’s Sonar set. Then keep playing, as it sets the tone for the rest of a heavyweight house, techno and disco set.
We’ll keep you updated on further Justice developments. In the meantime, here are six of our favourite Justice tracks to date. Enjoy…
