Netsky surprised revelers at London’s Wireless Festival last Saturday with a brand new track from his long awaited third album entitled Thunder… AND a surprise appearance from the vocalist Emeli Sande.
The track debut took place in Wireless’s Pepsi Max stage and was nestled amid a slew of Netsky classics and his recent summertime anthem Rio. It was reported to have gone down incredibly well with both Emeli and Netsky bouncing off each other’s enthusiasm.
No audio is available yet, but those present described the track as an absolute banger and not too dissimilar to the early High Contrast sound. We’ll post it as soon as we can. In the meantime, it’s yet another sign that Netsky’s third album is imminent. For more details, Netsky talked to us at great lengths about its development a few months back.
Let’s not forget that this isn’t the first time Emeli Sande has been giving the D&B treatment. Nu:Tone, Fred V & Grafix and Cyantic have all proved that her voice and delivery works incredibly well over 170BPM dynamics.
Let’s indulge while we wait for Thunder to drop…
