Phace is up to something…
…. And now we know what it is.
He’s kicking off the new year with an outstanding EP on Blackout. It’s four-tracks heavy and he’s tailor made it for the label’s distinctive, unruly energetic sound…
“The Black Sun Empire guys have wanted me to do a release for their label for a loooooong time now,” he explains. “But unfortunately the timing never was right. So I am very happy that everything has lined up for this EP. The music on the EP sounds a little more upfront than my usual stuff and pretty much aims at working the dancefloor. I guess having it on their awesome Blackout label it had to have the little extra of that.”
Upfront, aimed at the dancefloor, unique: Phace pays respect to Blackout’s established signature while sounding wholly on his own. Blackout joins a killer list of labels that Phace has worked with during his 10+ year career so far including Renegade Hardware, Vision, Shogun, Critical and of course his own Neosignal / Neodigital imprints.
With stacks more locked and loaded for 2017, the Hamburg heavyweight is kicking down the doors of the new year with clarity and major helpings of caustic, hair-raising funk. Keep your eye out on the usual feeds for this to erupt in the new year…
