This summer we’re linking with Exit Festival and TheSoundYouNeed to bring you exactly that and more at Sea Dance Festival! Set on one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches, Jaz beach in Montenegro, Sea Dance was voted Best European Medium-Sized Festival at this years Festival Awards in Amsterdam.
With any summer festival situated abroad, there is always going to be a period of umming and ahhh-ing coupled with research and discovery, so for those who don’t know much about the area, we’d like to introduce you to Europe’s best kept secret: the absolutely breathtaking Montenegro.
Just a stones throw away from Croatia, Montenegro, often referred to as the pearl of the Mediterranean, is nestled between Serbia and Bosnia, and is enriched with natural beauty in the form of stunning beaches, clear lakes and beautiful rivers, as well as breathtaking mountains. To put it simply, you’ll find yourself gasping ‘WOW’ an awful lot.
Sea Dance will be held at Jaz beach, in the coastal town of Budva. Known for its well-preserved medieval-walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife, Budva is 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast. Again, you’ll find yourself wide-eyed and in awe of the incredible scenery. Jaz is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast, and its crystal clear waters, undeveloped surroundings and gorgeous views attract thousands of visitors a year.
As a music venue, it has hosted world-class acts like The Rolling Stones, Madonna and Armand Van Helden. Last year’s Sea Dance Festival boasted the likes of Jamiroquai, Underworld and Example. This year, get set for a next-level line-up with some of the biggest names in electronic music. We can’t wait to reveal what we’ve got in store for you! With the line-up will come a ticket price increase, so it’s time to get planning!
The action across all stages at Sea Dance will take place right on the beach, or a very short walk away. Whether it’s a day time party on the sand, watching an incredible sunset accompanied by cocktails and beats from one of our artists, or dancing all night in the 3,000 capacity main arena, you’ll never be far from those breathtaking sea views! If you’re camping at the event, the on-site festival village is just 50m back from Jaz Beach.
