Shazam UK Bass Chart: 2014

The Shazam UK Bass Chart returns for the final time in 2014 with a countdown of the most requested bass-related tracks in the UK this year.

2014 has been fantastic for all forms of electronic music. While balls-out basslines and epic drops have been budged back underground by deeper grooves this year, it’s great to see how our favourite low end element has creatively weaseled and treacled its way into pretty much every corner.

Repping the British public’s interest in bass music right across the board from deep house to drum & bass, Shazam’s end-of-year UK bass chart isn’t just a telling snapshot of where new music fans are at in the British Isles right now… But also a decent document of dance music’s overall state of health.

Or, to put it another way: there are some bangers in this chart! Enjoy.
