Sigma have announced one of the most remarkable shows of their career so far this morning… May 27 will see the chart-busting duo perform at one of London’s most iconic venues: the Royal Albert Hall.
The show is part of the annual Albert Sessions; a series of events and workshops designed for young musicians and audiences. Joe and Cam will be the first drum & bass act to headline the prestigious 146 year old venue, and they promise to turn it into a rave…
Every show we do is special but to play live in a venue like the Royal Albert Hall is something every artist dreams of. We can’t wait to perform on that iconic stage and we hope it’s something our fans are going to enjoy just as much as we will. For one night only we’re going to turn the place into a giant rave and celebrate the culture that we’ve come from.”
The Albert Hall show follows an impressive line of live accomplishments for platinum-selling Sigma who have previously sold out Brixton O2 and London Roundhouse and performed key festivals such as Glastonbury, We Are FSTVL, Isle Of Wight, Parklife and EDC. There’s a chance fans might hear brand new material, too as Sigma are currently in the studio working on their follow up to their debut album Life.
Their latest single – Find Me, featuring Birdy – is the first to come from their as-yet-untitled second album that’s expected late 2017. With Life selling almost half a million units, anticipation is high for the currently unstoppable mainstream drum & bass duo.
Tickets for Sigma’s Royal Albert Hall debut range from £15-35. They go on sale 10am this Friday January 27 via www.gigsandtours.com.
