Skrillex & The Game Join Forces

Following his collaboration with Vic Mensa earlier this year, Skrillex is back on a hip-hop flex this week with a heavyweight pair-up with The Game on El Chapo.

Leaked last night by various sources, El Chapo is one of the 38 tracks on The Game’s forthcoming double album The Documentary 2 wherein the erstwhile Dre protege uses the notorious Mexican drug lord as a comparison to his own command of the rap game and employs the the skills of producer Bangladesh.

Igniting with a classic cartoon chase sample (which is actually Frank Sinatra’s Granada), we’re soon hurled into a nasty trap drop. While production roles between the OWSLA bossman and Cash Money producer haven’t been confirmed, we reckon Skrillex’s presence is felt around the 1min mark when the bass gets a bit growly.

It’s an interesting partnership that bangs pretty hard and will go off in the club. And while it’s likely to be pretty divisive among bass fans, it’s well worth a listen…
