Two more series of People Just Do Nothing have been confirmed by the BBC

UK TV fans rejoice: Grindah, Decoy, Beats and the whole Kurupt FM crew have just confirmed that two new series of their successful BBC mockumentary comedy have been commissioned.

At a time when most youth/young adult content seems to be being cut from the BBC’s remit, this is really exciting news.

No other comedy has captured the UK’s characterful ambitious listlessness, pirate radio culture or the undying influence of UK garage in such a dry, on-point way. Actually, no other comedy has even attempted it full stop.

This news also follows a summer of hugely successful club and festival shows and their historic BBC Radio 1Xtra show during which they reminded us of the soulful badism of Craig David. People Just Do Nothing may be a mockumentary but the skills are real. Watch out for series three in early 2016.
