UK bass community unites on one massive album to help fight homelessness

Break, Emperor, Dr Meaker, Foreign Concept, Sam Binga, Dismantle, Kyrist, GotSome, Pinch, Phaeleh and many more talented bass-minded artists have contributed to The Bridge, an exceptional album that’s sole aim is to raise money for three important charities: Help Bristol’s Homeless, Mental Health Foundation and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

Reflecting the sounds of Bristol’s rich bass music scene with its own artists or close allies, The Bridge was developed by the city’s youth radio station SWU.FM, Motion’s premiership bass event The Blast and artist-to-charity platform I Give You Give. 16 tracks deep, all exclusive, the album covers all crucial bass bases: the rolling grizzling tech of Emperor’s long-awaited dub Dig, the frazzled funk of Break’s Rollerblade, the graveyard dubstep charm of Ishan Sound’s Ghosted, the woozy two-step bliss of Sepia’s Tic Tock and the subtle 808 and 303 lashings from Phaeleh’s Acid Bongo are just some examples of west country-inspired bass innovation on offer.

Minimum donations are £5 and every penny goes to the three awesome causes listed above. A chance to fight homelessness, help develop awareness and understanding of mental health and help medical outreach in countries where they need help the most and add 16 genuinely dope bass tracks from a stack of on-point artists to your collection… Done deal.
