37 tracks deep, featuring Camo & Krooked, Wilkinson, Mat Zo, Kove, Hybrid Minds, Nitepunk, Emalkay, Truth, Teddy Killerz, Bare Noize, Mohican Sun and many more: UKF 10 – Ten Years Of UKF will drop on November 29 both digitally and in a special vinyl collector-edition box-set bundle. It is, without doubt, our biggest album to date.
Celebrating a whole decade of our role neck-deep in bass culture, championing, inspiring and uniting a whole new generation of artists and music lovers, 2019 will be a year UKF will never forget. Instead of just looking back over what we’ve done, we wanted to mark this milestone with some of our closest and most influential friends in the music.
Event-wise we’ve hosted mainstage takeovers at EXIT Festival and Let It Roll and returned to Frome, home of UKF founder Luke Hood, for an intimate event so special someone even proposed to their girlfriend live on stage and we sold our own branded cider.
We’re not done with the parties yet, too; On December 14 we’ll be heading to Studio 338 London to salute the year in style with another widescreen, all-corners line-up: Dimension, Delta Heavy, The Prototypes, Notion, Grafix, Joker, Plastician, Emalkay, Subscape, The Others, Kove, Quadrant & Iris, Distinkt, Enada and Dilemma will all be joining us to celebrate a decade of UKF. You should too, tickets are available here.
First, though; the album. Featuring all the exclusive UKF10 releases we’ve been firing your way throughout the year – kicking off with Camo & Krooked’s powerful Atlas way back in January – plus many more exclusive tracks, the album captures the craft of some of the most exciting artists we’ve worked with since the very beginning. Ranging from names who broke through on our network and have championed UKF just as much as we’ve celebrated them over the years, the album reads as a multi-generational rollcall of bass artists at the top of their game. From pioneers like Matrix and Emalkay to future headliners like Upgrade, Kanine and K Motionz via absolute soldiers of the scene like Futurebound, Friction and The Others, UKF10 – Ten Years Of UKF is a 37 gunfinger salute to the musical movements that inspired Luke to set up the original UKF channels in the first and have taken us around the world hosting events in 36 countries, amass over 3 billion streams of life-affirming bass music and make some incredible friends along the way.
Full tracklist is below, the album is available for pre-order from today. Sign-up now and you’ll instantly receive a minimix of the album as a taster of the full bass banquet we’ve cooked up. The album will also be available as a limited edition vinyl box-set with select tracks from the album on 4 x heavyweight 10” vinyl with a UKF-branded USB with the full album and a digital booklet of UKF memories and exclusive interviews with Andy C, AC Slater, Camo & Krooked, Netsky, Doctor P, Hybrid Minds and more.
As we said, this is without a doubt the biggest album we’ve ever curated and it lands at the best year we’ve had since Luke began uploading tunes to YouTube in 2009. Thanks to everyone who’s supported us and all artists who’ve let us support their tracks ever since. Here’s to the next 10 years…
