Watch: Modestep – Machines

modestep machines

Just over two weeks remain until Modestep drop their powerful – and long awaited – sophomore album London Road.

We’ve heard it, here’s a spoiler: it’s worth getting excited about…. Especially if you’re a fan of the heavier, rock-ravaged side of their output.

Earlier this week the band uploaded the video to Modestep – Machines to their Vevo channel. Co-directed by the band themselves, it’s a dark twist on the classic rock set-up with added zombie eyes and I.V drips. It’s a bit sick….

Boasting collaborations with the likes of Funtcase, Genetix, Teddy Killerz, Culprate, Trolley Snatcha, Big Narstie, Flowdan and many more, London Road is riddled with cross-genre badness from the chop-slap dubstep and anthemic hooks we’ve always loved to much darker, subversive material. It’s available for pre-order now.

Check out their tour dates this summer.

Here’s the killer Mefjus remix we fronted a few weeks back…
