XOYO announce Calibre residency this summer

All roads lead to XOYO, London, once again this year as the one and only Calibre steps up for a 10 week residency throughout the summer.

Just months after we’ve recovered from Andy C’s second season at the Shoreditch club, Calibre’s residency was officially announced today (but had been leaked several times over the last week)  Each line-up is curated by Calibre and explores every facet of his expansive singular sound from a strong presence of dub and 140 to elements of techno and all shades of drum & bass.

Guests range from dub legend Mad Professor to previous XOYO resident and one of the most respected selectors in techno Ben UFO by way of UKG don Zed Bias and a whole range of top level drum & bass acts from dBridge to DJ Marky via High Contrast, DJ Flight, Dub Phizix, Om Unit and Sherelle and many more.

Promoted with his own artwork, loaded with a dedicated Dub Lab (aka the top room upstairs) featuring a night in conjunction with the Marcus Intalex Foundation and at least one ambient set promised by the man himself, the XOYO residency is a 10 week blank canvas for Calibre to really explore, dig deep and celebrate his perspective on all aspects of his craft.

The residency kicks off on July 5 with Calibre and DJ Flight commanding the main room and Om Unit running sounds all night in the Dub Lab. It will be launched with a new EP entitled Cowper Street which is available on limited edition vinyl on his Signature website.

Full line-up and ticket details can be found on the XOYO website
