Bou unites over 60 D&B artists to raise funds for Palestine

Out today: DNB 4 Peace is a collection of 62 tracks donated from some of the most prized talents in drum & bass including A.M.C, Turno, DRS, Hazard, Alix Perez, Unglued, Mr Traumatik, Voltage, Visages, Dutta, Chimpo, Dogger & Salo, Benny L, Annix, Ben Snow, AC13, Enei, Forgeign Beggars, Halogenix, K Motionz, Pola & Bryson, Gray, Mollie Collins, Trex, Workforce and many more. Including the album coordinator Bou.

“It’s amazing seeing so many artists get behind it and donate tracks,” the Manchester artist explains. “I was seeing all those videos on the news, it was just heart-breaking and I think if we’re in any type of position where we can have a positive influence, we should. So many people were keen to jump on it, which was so cool to see.”

The album began as a social media post on Bou’s Facebook during the recent violent outbreaks between Israel and Palestine in May and has since developed into one of the largest fundraising V/A collections in D&B in recent times. In Bou’s own words, “they’re all bangers” and the album will be available on Bandcamp for £20 with all proceeds going to Medicins Sans Frontieres’ work on the ground in Palestine.

“This isn’t about taking sides, I’m not on any side of the conflict,” states Bou. “I am supporting the people who’ve got no say in what’s happening. The families, the kids on the streets, they got no resources, no health care. It’s brutal. I want us to come together and make a difference.”

You can make a difference over on Bandcamp. These are just a fraction of the exceptional tracks donated to the album. Get involved if you can…
