Dimension reveals full FABRICLIVE 98 details

May 25 2018: Dimension will be the next drum & bass artist to step up to Fabric’s long-revered Fabriclive mix series. Following recent editions by the likes of Mefjus, Skream and Holy Goof, Dimension – Fabriclive 98 continues the series current rich vein of form with a staggering mix that comprises 56 tracks, 22 of which are exclusive to the album.

Exclusives come from the likes of Skrillex, Deadmau5, Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Calyx & Teebee, Culture Shock, The Prototypes, Fred V & Grafix, Turno and many more. Including Dimension himself with the long-awaited VIPs of some of his biggest tracks in recent years such as Beg & Borrow, Whipslap, Jet Black and UK. All pressure cooked in Dimension’s unique energetic style, the exclusives are blended, fused and double dropped with a whole run of ageless anthems, too. John B’s Up All Night, Commix’s Be True, Chase & Status’s Is It Worth It and Fresh & Sigma’s Cylon are just some of the cult classic that play a role in his intense 70 minute mix, creating a timeless feel that transcends the dancefloor and celebrates the entire genre.

“Of course, I wanted to make the mix special,” explains Dimension. “I wanted it to represent my attitude towards the energy experienced at shows, but also appreciated the fact that the mix isn’t always going to be heard on a dancefloor. I also wanted the mix to contain a lot of new music, hence why over half the track list has never been heard and is specifically unique to FABRICLIVE 98. Some of the most talented producers from all around the scene went out their way to create bespoke VIPs from their back catalogue, specifically for the mix. I truly hope the result is something that people are really excited to hear.”

Mission accomplished. Dimension – Fabriclive 98 drops May 25 and will be launched at Fabric on May 11 with a special joint event with Med School. Dimension will be joined by Friction, Metrik, TC, Turno, 1991 and Kove while Room 2 will be home to London Elektricity, Etherwood, Keeno, Whiney, Unglued, Lakeway, Sweetpea and Chris Inperspective.
