We’ve been throwing back over Nero tunes on the office soundsystem since Skrillex dropped Promises for us at Sea Dance last month… And this is one of our favourites.
Seven years and one day old to this very day; it’s still every bit as exhilaratingly euphoric as it was when we first heard Annie Mac premiere it on Pete Tong’s show. You could argue it’s even more emotive these days thanks to its deep nostalgic draw and the fact no one is making evocative dubstep on this level right now.
Bonus points if you caught the 12″ with the equally arresting remix of Blinded By The Lights. In hindsight, this remix package was a pivotal moment for Nero as they marched confidently into the premiership with Innocence just months later. Rewind and enjoy!
