Forget wellies, muddy fields and four-layers-as-soon-as-the-sun-goes-down climates – we’re ditching the UK this festival season and heading to the beach!
After three unforgettable days of sun, sea, sand and music last summer, the team at Sea Dance – the same people who run the world famous EXIT Festival at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Serbia – asked us to be a part of the 2015 event. It didn’t take us long to make up our minds! Jaz Beach is part of the most beautiful, unspoilt piece of coastline on the Adriatic sea, while the surrounding region of Budva clocks up over 2,300 hours of sunshine a year. We couldn’t think of a better place to host our first beach party…
We’re taking it to the next level with THE PRODIGY confirmed as the headline act on July 15th!! With their highly anticipated album due to drop later this month, they’ll be armed with fresh material as well as the earth-shattering classics we all know and love. If you’ve ever seen these guys perform live, you know how special this is going to be.
Their performance on our stage at EXIT in 2014 was one of the highlights of last year’s festival season – now Rudimental have also confirmed their return to the Balkans this July for Sea Dance! They join Sigma, who absolutely tore apart O2 Academy Brixton at UKF NYE, and “Afterglow” superstar Wilkinson, as the first UKF headliners announced on the main stage.
We’ve just dropped some more heavyweight pressure onto this already monstrous line-up: Noisia, Calyx & Teebee, Fred V & Grafix, Black Sun Empire, Brookes Brothers, Maduk + Gotsome will also be joining us on the beach for the ultimate bass adventure!
We were absolutely blown away by the response to this festival online – with over 20k people joining the Facebook event, and thousands more signing up for pre-sale tickets, early birds and 1st release tickets have already been snapped up! 3rd release tickets are available now for just £54 (69 EUR), and are selling fast. Make sure you grab yours soon and secure your spot on the beach for the best possible price.
