Spain-based drum and bass powerhouse Lexed is rapidly cementing his status as a driving force in the scene. After his track ‘Flames’ on DNB Allstars secured a publishing deal with Universal Music UK, he has consistently proven the high level of his production. His growth is backed by heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1 and the release of his debut EP “Psychosis” on Viper Recordings. With a massive Bassrush debut and a headline mix for Insomniac Radio adding to his credentials, Lexed is quickly becoming a name that can’t be ignored in 2026.
We think the best way to get to know someone is always to look through their music collection. Today, we want to get to know Lexed, so we’ve asked him who his ones to watch are for 2026.
Wiguez, Moneo, The Clamps – La Calle del Aire
Seville-based producer Wiguez has been making a massive impact in the Spanish scene lately. His track ‘La Calle del Aire’ on Eatbrain perfectly showcases his authentic sound, seamlessly blending a traditional Spanish vibe with aggressive neurofunk. I think the mixdown is incredibly solid, packed with heavy-hitting subs and a clinical precision that absolutely tears up the dancefloor. The way he brings those local roots into such a technical production creates a very distinctive and fresh energy. It is a great example of how to maintain a cultural identity while delivering a high-end, modern drum and bass sound. With such a fresh spin on the genre, he is definitely an essential artist to watch right now
Jrace & Albert White – Horizon
‘Horizon’ is a very well-executed track that manages to stay melodic while keeping a lot of energy for the dancefloor. It’s a solid release on Viper Recordings that highlights their focus on clean sound design and precise arrangements. Having shared studio time with them, I know firsthand how much they care about the technical details of their music.
The track builds a great atmosphere that works perfectly for both club sets and casual listening. The high-end polish and the way the low-end is controlled show they really know their way around the studio. They are definitely producers to keep on the radar throughout 2026.
Deep Notion – Brock Out
This is a perfect, catchy jump-up roller that has been a massive part of my sets recently. Hailing from New Zealand, the Deep Notion duo has been cementing their place in the scene, and I truly believe they are artists to keep a close eye on throughout 2026. Every track they drop is defined by incredible precision and a disruptive bass style that never fails to ignite the crowd. The energy in ‘Brock Out’ is infectious from the first bar, making it a guaranteed floor-filler. It balances a simple, effective hook with a production level that feels very modern and sharp. This release on Crucast is the ultimate proof of their talent for crafting high-energy dancefloor weapons.
Tanukichi, Bonnot, Jman – One
Tanukichi, Bonnot, and Jman are absolute veterans in the game, and this release on Night On Earth Records perfectly demonstrates why they still demand your attention. This track is an undeniable banger that masterfully bridges the gap between driving 4×4 rhythms and heavy drum and bass. It’s packed with a ridiculous amount of groove and engineered specifically to ignite the club. I love how it transitions between different energies, keeping the dancers on their toes the whole time. The vocal contribution from Jman adds a layer of authenticity that ties the whole production together. When you need a certified weapon that simply never fails on the dancefloor, these are definitely the guys to keep an eye on.
A Little Sound, Bish x Genetics – I Just Can’t Get Enough
This is one of those tunes that just gets stuck in your head from the first listen. The track feels incredibly fresh and the production is top-tier; it’s a great melodic tune, but the drop is what really caught me—it absolutely crushes the dancefloor. It’s a standout release from the Born On Road catalog that shows exactly why this sound is dominating right now. The vocal work fits the energy of the track perfectly and gives it a very strong identity. It’s been a staple in my USB for a while now because of its versatility and pure energy. I’m sure these are names you’re going to keep hearing about across the scene this year.
Krasia UK – Dark Matter
If there is one name you need to watch right now, it’s the Krasia UK trio. Their track ‘Dark Matter’ is a prime example of high-energy dancefloor drum and bass that works flawlessly on any system. They’ve managed to capture a massive sound that is both catchy and powerful, proving exactly why they are producers to keep firmly on your radar throughout 2026. The energy of the drop is what really stands out and it fits perfectly in any high-impact set. It’s a track that feels heavy but keeps a constant flow that works great for the crowd. I’ve been really enjoying their recent output and the direction they are taking with their music.
Frannabik, Phenom – Aurora
Hailing from Almería, Frannabik is proving his worth with tracks built around hyper-polished basslines and a dark, immersive neurofunk atmosphere. Teaming up with Phenom for ‘Aurora’ on Play Me Records, he twists the traditional heavy neuro sound into something uniquely catchy yet completely disruptive. The expertly crafted low-end wraps the whole production in a sinister but infectious vibe. It’s the kind of track that works well in the late hours of a rave when the audience wants something deeper and more technical. The attention to detail in the percussion and the soundscapes is evident throughout the whole track. He’s definitely one to watch as he continues to push his boundaries.
Bitsune & M’go x Basskillah – Animal
The way this track blends Spanish reggae vocals with drum and bass is executed with great precision. It’s a genuinely unique production that stands out for its vibe and solid arrangement. To me, it’s a track that shows exactly what these producers are capable of when they step outside the box. The contrast between the organic vocals and the gritty digital bass creates a really interesting dynamic. I really like the creative direction they took here and how they managed to make the fusion sound so natural. In my opinion, they have a lot of potential and are definitely names to keep an eye on throughout 2026.
Loboski, SLESS, Veronica Bravo – Need Your Love
Tracks from both Loboski and SLESS have become absolute staples on my USB drives lately. They are completely smashing the scene right now, and recent releases like ‘Need Your Love’ on Wobbles & Waffles feel incredibly fresh and finely tuned. With Veronica Bravo on the vocals, the whole track delivers a top-tier, vibrant energy. The production is clean and hits all the right frequencies to make it a massive dancefloor anthem. It shows a level of technical quality that stands out immediately in a mix. Without a doubt, these guys are firmly representing the exciting new era of drum and bass.
Xtinctor & Melic – Bang Bang
I’ve known these two producers for about two years now and I’ve always respected their work ethic. The energy and sound design on their Riot Records release ‘Bang Bang’ are incredibly precise from start to finish. By teaming up for this one, they’ve managed to deliver a heavy-hitting dancefloor banger that carries a very distinctive flow. The technical execution of the bassline makes it a powerful tool that simply goes off every single time it’s played. It’s a great example of how to balance high-impact energy with a very clean and professional production level. They are definitely names to keep an eye on throughout 2026.
