Camo & Krooked promised us they had a lot planned for 2019.
But we didn’t know some of their new ammo would drop on their old stomping ground Hospital Records. Until now.
Inspired by Haitian voodoo rituals and comprising Haitian instruments, while still hitting hard with the duo’s emotionally-charged, dynamic signature; Loa sees the duo taking their sound to bold places… With old friends.
‘Releasing with Hospital Records feels like coming home again. Very happy to be part of the family and to put out lots of new music more frequently!’
Loa is the first original Camo & Krooked track to be released on Hospital in six years and the label – who released two benchmark-setting albums with them in the form of Cross The Line and Zeitgeist – have confirmed more releases together will follow.
Coming hot on the heels of Atlas – Camo & Krooked’s first release in 18 months and the launch track to our UKF10 series – Loa is the Vienna lads’ second single this year. We know more will come later this year and, most importantly, they’re in an inspired place right now. “We’re super motivated to smash it again and produce something that matters and stands out,” they told us in January.
They weren’t lying. Loa has already been a big opener for Camo & Krooked this year since debuting it at Let It Roll Winter in February, now it’s set to stand out in sets across the summer and beyond. We’re keen to hear what comes next…
