As if collaborating with Modestep and Virtual Riot for By My Side on the Disciple Alliance 4 album wasn’t quite enough flames for the summer, Barely Alive announced their second album earlier this week.
Running the range from heavy headbang to raw funk, the album is called Odyssey, it’s 14 tracks tall and features the likes Virus Syndicate, Great Good Fine Ok, Splitbreed, IAMSU, Mad Hed City and Nah Mean, it’s out August 13 and it comes with one of the best album covers we’ve seen in years. Just look it at (above) and get lost in the 80s references…
Then get lost in this ridiculous 35 second teaser of all the drops from the album played at once right here.
It’s like some crazy self induced hyper leak and also quite engrossing. But for a real taste of the forthcoming album, this trailer is much more satisfying. Roll on August 13. You can presave here…
