Voting will close on the 10th annual Drum&BassArena Awards at 23.59 GMT on Wednesday November 21. If you haven’t voted yet, this is most definitely your time.
Every vote counts: this year’s nominations are some of the most interesting and diverse we’ve seen in years. Each category comprising a healthy range of established bosses and exciting new-gen talent from across almost all sub-styles and pigeonholes imaginable.
There are also some very interesting favourites at this stage; Degs has set a brand new precedent with nominations in five categories in his breakthrough year, Friction has also set a high bar with nominations in four categories. Other multiple nominated artists include DRS, Mefjus, K Motionz and Turno who are all up for gold in three awards.
That’s just the tip of the black and yellow iceberg, each category tells an interesting story of where drum & bass is at right now: A broad range of styles, a crucial balance of new talent and razor sharp dons and wild, boundary free mix of flavours… 2018 will be looked back upon as a vintage for drum & bass, and the Drum&BassArena Awards are a great celebration of that.
