UKF is five years old! We’re celebrating this milestone anniversary with a massive birthday event in London later this year. Fancy joining us? Sign-up and make sure you’re the first in the queue for details when we announce them.
So far in our UKFis5 series we’ve looked at the first ever uploads and we’ve interviewed the men behind some of the most ever viewed tracks in our history. Next week we’ll be interviewing the two artists who have scored the highest EVER views.
Right now though we’re refixing our focus to YOU. Without you checking our uploads, UKF would be nothing. From the centre of the UK to every corner of the bass-loving globe, there’s not a country in the world that hasn’t been home to a UKF view or two (hundred thousand).
But are the vibes universal? Are we all dancing to the same drum? Are we all pulling screwfaces to the same drop?
Or are there some strong national differences?
The evidence is clear for all to see in the first of our Worldwide Fives series. We’ve cast our drum & bass data net as far as it will spread… From our UK vantage point we’ve looked as far west and east as possible to find some interesting results. Big hitters are big hitters, but there are definitely differences between each country – Netsky’s remix of Rusko is the only consistent favourite between the three territories!
So big love to UKF fans in North America. Big love to UKF fans in Australia. Big love to UKF fans the world over! Interested to find out which tracks are the biggest in your country? Let us know… We’ll be running more Worldwide Fives very soon.
