Love writing as much as you love electronic music?
Then we’d like to hear from you.
Since March we’ve been developing our own editorial voice with features and interviews that you will not find anywhere else. Backing up our well-established passion for new music and exclusivity, each of our features explores more about the people behind the beats. And they’re written by dedicated writers with unique ideas and high professional standards.
As this exciting adventure develops, so will our team of contributors.
We would like to hear from you if you have a genuine passion for music writing, have a strong knowledge of electronic music and are up to the challenge of representing UKF during interviews and at events.
Our ears are open to all ideas and input from writers in every corner of the globe. From news shouts to top 10s, festival wrap-ups to interviews – if you feel you have something to offer UKF, we want to hear from you.
What next?
Still interested? Great… Please email our editor Dave (editor@ukf.com) along with details on any published writing experience you’ve had, your main areas of musical interest and two article ideas you think would work well on UKF.com
Please take your time. This invitation is open for the foreseeable. Take a look at the content we’ve run before to get an idea of how we approach artists, deliver information and voice our enthusiasm. How would you develop or contribute to it? Which artists would you like to see on the site? What ideas do you have?
UKF is global – so our writer team will be too. Wherever you are in the world, if you are looking for a career in music writing, we are looking to hear from you.
Don’t write but creative in other ways?
If you don’t write but have other creative skills and want to know more about contributing to UKF, please give a shout to content@ukf.com. We’d like to hear from videographers, graphic artists, photographers, illustrators, animators and dancers. Don’t be shy!
