Watch: Dub Phizix & Strategy – Well Good Things

Drum & bass is often criticised for taking itself too seriously.

But that definitely can’t be said of Dub Phizix & Strategy. Debunking the stereotype with every record since their gamechanging Marka way back in 2011, the Mancunian duo have been on a constant mission to remind us that music is supposed to be about having fun and a bit of laugh.

This is present on their social media (Phizix’s Instagram is just pictures of crisp packets from around the world), it’s present on last year’s massive animal chatting smash Buffalo and it’s more than present when you catch them live. Phizzy plays the consummate selector (proffering a whole range of dubs we guarantee you’ve never heard before) while Strats chats with rabblerousing glee… Often requesting you turn to the person next to you in the dance, give them a hug and say ‘alright mate’. Nice.

For a taste of these spirited vibes head to Fabric this Friday (August 21) as they takeover Room 2 as the guys have enlisted Joker, Die and Chimpo for their Well Good Do. We originally asked them for a short interview about their favourite well good things. But instead they gave us this awesome video. Two minutes well invested.

Follow Dub Phizix. Follow Strategy. Watch this…
